Dyeing Behaviors of C.I. Disperse Red 60 and Its Related Dyes in Dyeing Baths of Different pH

The dyeing behaviors on polyester textiles (PET) of C.I. Disperse Red 60 and its related dyes such as C.I. Disperse Red 127,146 and 191 were determined in dyeing baths of different pH. The results indicated that pH had no effect on the buildup of C.I. Disperse Red 60 and 191 on PET. The buildup of C.I. Disperse Red 146 on PET in the neutral and basic dyeing baths was superior to that in the acidic dyeing baths. C.I. Disperse Red 127 obtained good buildup on PET in the acidic dyeing baths, while its buildup on PET was worse in the neutral one and was the worst in the basic one. The light fastness and sublimation fastness of C.I. Disperse Red 60,127,146 and 191 on PET had nothing to do with dyeing baths of different pH.
