A Predictive-corrective Control Scheme for Processes with Dead Time

A predictive corrective control scheme for processes with dead time is presented in this paper which is developed from its original based on observation and compensation. Its formulation, features and precautions in implementation are discussed. Simulation results have shown its satisfactory performance.
