Abstract

Multiple forms of cellulase were isolated and purified from earthworm (Eisenia Foelide) homogenate by Sephadex G~*75 gel filtration, ion exchange chromatography on DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B and Mono Q. column separation of FPLC. From the results of the characteristic studies, these cellulases can be identified as enzyme C_x.
