Mathematical Simulation for Texaco Residual-Oil Gasification System

A process analysis for residual-oil gasification system of Texaco is presented. Mathematical models for calculating the material and heat balance of the system and a method for calculating the minor components of gasifier are also proposed. Steady state simulation of the system by sequential modular approach is carried out. The results of simulation are in good agreement with the data of design and plant operation.
