Study on Expert System of Energy Conserving Control for Ethylene Column

An expert system of energy conserving control on production ruless is established for ethylene column. The expert system structure and its design thought are illustrated. Based on the model charater of ethylene column, a series of functional blocks are proposed, for example, knowledge aquisition, knowledge representation and data base establishment and so on. Simulation studies show that the expert system is easy, effective and reliables to use.
