Preparation and Analysis of Solid Dispersion of Osthole

Using poly(vinylpyrrolidone) as a carrier, solid dispersions of osthole were prepared by solvent method. The dissolution of the solid dispersion was detected with the use of scanning electron microscope, IR spectrometer and UV spectrometer results showed that in contrast with the osthole and the physical mixtures of osthole and carrier the dissoluation of solid dispersion was significantly increased. These was no chemical reaction between osthole and carrier.
