Simulation of Separation Process with a Reaction II. Reactive Flash
The equations describing reactive flash with inert components have been transformed into a new set of equations. The new model is the same as that of non reactive flash process in expression style, and can be solved by using the method of the latter. Newton method is adopted and the reactive flash process of MTBE synthesis has been studied as a numerical example.
