Study on the Properties of Anatase TiO2\= II.The Dense Coat and Characterization of Photochemical \= Activity of Anatase TiO2

The hydrothermal surface modification with silica is applied to dense coat surface photochemical activity of anatase TiO2. The reducing reaction of Cr2O2-7 is used to evaluate the integrity of the coating layer, and TEM is used to inspect its surface state. Some factors, e.g., TiO2 slurry solid concentration, temperature, pH as well as reaction time, which dominate the dense coat were studied.
