Abstract
The dynamic model of Parex process for a petrochemical plant has been established based on the mechanism of the simulated moving bed adsorption process for C 8 aromatic hydrocarbon.Then,the distributed parameter model has been reduced to ordinary differential equations by approximate technique of Haar wavelets which have local characteristic for time and frequency.By numerical simulation,when the concentration of feed flow varied,the step responses of the model have been obtained.
