    Research of Intragranular State for KD306type Sulfurtolerant Catalyst

    • The onedimensional nonisothermal reactiondiffusion model (containing dead area) for KD306type sulfurtolerant catalyst has been solved by orthogonal collocation method. It is proved experimentally that the model can describe the state within the catalyst pellet. The results of the model simulation indicate that temperature difference within the pellet is small while concentration difference is great. In addition, whether there is a dead area depends on the temperature.
