Molecular Cloning and Preliminary Functional Study of Human Novel Gene CHID1

A set of bioinformatics methods were used to screen novel human secretory proteins from many protein sequences obtained from the public protein database in this study.A novel secretory protein gene,CHID1 was obtained.It locates in human chromosome 11p15.5,spanning 1 182 bp and encoding 393 amino acid residues.Transfecting in COS-7 cell and subsequently western blot analyzing showed that CHID1 was not detected in cell culture media.Tissue RT-PCR experiment uncovered that CHID1 was(expressed) in lung,kidney,l...
