Abstract
Synthesizing the solution of convolution integral and the design of gains for the optimal control systems with a quadratic performance measure, this paper presents a new approach to the optimal design of linear seryo mechanism. Two examples, one is SISO system and the other is MIMO system, are given. The results which are obtained via Chebyshev series show that the new method has high digital accuracy and rapid convergent property.
