A New Overall Optimization Method and Its Application

We present a new overall optimiztion method based on the analysis of simulat-ed annealing algorithm,genetic algorithm and chemotaxis algorithm. Thc new method hasbeen applied to the scheduling of a flowshop problem,and the results illustrate the effectiveness and convenience of this method.
