Abstract

The tapping oil was prepared by compounding molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamates with cholride paraffine hydrocarbon, etc. The results obtained by the Four-Ball and Falex tapping torque test showed that the tapping oil prepared possesses excellent anti-wear, reducing friction performances, and the tapping time of each bit for stainless steel material (1 Cr 18) at Shanghai Camera Factory is above 25000, well surpassing the required 7000 by the factory.
