A set of new methods for optimization of synthetic ammonia process

A set of new methods of optimization are presented and their applications in thecase of synthetic ammonia process are given for illustration. For high dimensional pro-blems, the present method namely, the decomposition-coordination method for large sys-tem offers the advantage of easy-handling capacity. The set-point value was adjuctedby the result of computer simulation, It was verified experimentally with satisfaction.The online computer control strategy is illustrated.
