    Optimising Design of Regenerators in a Gas-Fired Glass Furnace

    • The optimum distribution problems about the transfer-heat area and the bumed-gas flowing volume in the regeneralors of a gas-fired glass furnace were solved by optimisingprinciples and computer technique.The structure of air and gas regenerators,the pre-heatingtemperature of air and gas,and the burned-gas temperature at leaving regeneralor under optimumconditions were given,The optimising design results can further decrease the consumption ofenergy of glass furnace.
