    Multi-Objective Optimization with Discrete Design Variables for Normal Cylindrical Worm Drive

    • A mathematical model for multi-objective optimization design problem is proposed, where the objective function includes the volume of corona of worm gear and tranmission efficiency. The sequential unconstrained min mization technique combined with discrete optimization method is used for computation. The numerical result is suitble to the engineering design.
