Abstract

The surfactants polyethylene glycol octadecyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether phosphate were used as emulsifying agent to study how to emulsify the product 58\ # paraffin wax of Shanghai Refining Oil Factroy,and prepare paraffin wax microemulsions.The result of study shows that surfactant component and concentration are two important factors effecting the quality of microemulsions.At the same time,the characteristics and stability of paraffin wax microemulsions are dependent on the particle size of the dispersed phase.
