A study on the fixing state of some disperse dyes on poiyester fibres dyed

The fixing state of three disperse dyes, i. e. C. I. Disperse Red 225, 167 and C. I. Disperse Blue 73, on polyester fibres dyed has been studied by X-ray diffraction method, DSC thermal analysis and other relevant optical measurements. It was fouled that the dyes are not taken up by the fibre in their crystalline state during dyeing. Apparently, the shade of the dyed fibre is independent of any of the modification form of the three dyes.
