Study on solar cell of squarylium dyes

Some sehottky barrier solar cells were constructed of eight cyanine dyes which containing the structural element of squaric acid. The relationship between the constitution of the dyes and their photoelectric parameters were studied. To look for the way of raising the photoelectric conversion efficiency, the properties of the cells werecompared with those of mineral solar cells.
