Abstract
A two-dimensional mathematical model of the flow and heat transfer of mehen glass in the central longitudinal cross-section of forehearth has been proposed and the results from it coincide with the results of the on-the-spot test and of the physical model. With the computer-calculated analysis of the mathematical model, some profitable opinions to the improvement of the operation of practical production and the forehearth construction have been proposed.
