Combinatorial calculation of lapped-flow-shop

The speciality and the combination pattern of lapped-flow-shop have been resear- ched. A combinatorial operator(+)is introduced and its calculating rule is developed, and the operational character of (+) has been discussed. Therefore, it becomes convenient to solve the calculation of makespan and the schedule problems of the lapped-flow-shop. Two examples have been shown in this paper.
