The Separative Matrices of Continuous Orthogonal Polynomials

In this paper, the separative matrices of continuous orthogonal polynomials are defined, and the constructive theorem for caculating the separative matrices is presented. The separative matrices have an uptriangular structure and elegant recursive formula and have found many applications in the area of automatic control with convenience for computer use.
