Abstract
Fe Cr nanopowders with mean diameter 50nm were successfully prepared in an organic solution of mixed ferrous and chromic salts, using sodium triethylborohydride as a reducing agent, toluene as a solvent, PVP as a dispersant agent. Conditions of preparation of Fe Cr powders were discussed and Fe Cr nanopowder was formed by low temperature heat treatment. The addition of PVP in the reaction improves powder morphology and glomeration.
