Abstract
A molecular weight distribution(WMD) model for the polycondensation process in PET production is developed. Selecting main operating parameters as decision variables and desired WMD as control goal, polycondensation production process is controlled by sequential quadratic programming(SQP) algorithm. The application results show that the optimized manipulated parameter and output quality are consistent with the industrial analysis data.
