Preliminary Study of Evaluating Incompleteness of Decentralized Information, Structure

The information structure of decentralized systems is studied form the information transmission point of view. The concept of multiplicities of decentralized fixed modes is presented in this paper, and used to evaluate the incompleteness. Several formulas are put forward and used to calculate the multiplicities. The actual signficance of the magnitude is also illustrated. In order to make information complete some additional channels are needed and the minimal number of the channels added is equal to the multiplicities of the fixed modes.
