    Temperature Distribution in the Scrubbing-Cooling Tube of the New Type Coal Slurry Gasifier

    • A hot-model experiment equipment of new type coal slurry gasifier was established.The temperature distribution in the scrubbing-cooling chamber was studied.With the commercial software Fluent,the three-dimension temperature distribution in the scrubbing-cooling tube was simulated.The result of the numerical simulation is well agreed with that of the experiments.According to the result from experiment and simulation,the temperature of syngas with high temperature is declined dramatically when it is passing through the scrubber-cooling ring.At the joint of the scrubber-cooling ring and the scrubbing-cooling tube,namely the outlet of the cooling water,the mass and heat transfer is very severe,and the temperature is dropped rapidly.At the distance of about 0.15 m from the scrubber-cooling ring,the gas temperature is developed.The model and conclusion drawn from this paper provide the design basis for the industrial scale-up.
