Treatment of p-Aminophenol Effluent with Active Carbon Adsorbent

    • A novel process is proposed for treatment of p-aminophenol effluent with active carbon (adsorption.) Five adsorption equilibriums of active carbon are discussed. It has been studied to dispose (the p-aminophenol) in the waste using a peel carbon. The breakthrough curve has been measured. The (relationships) of working lining length and linear velocity, as well as breakthrough curve and cyclic load (elution) have been obtained. The experimental results show that it is available and effective to use (w_(H_2SO_4)=0.18) solvent as desorbent, and that the concentration of p-aminophenol will be less than 0.001%. The green manufacturing process for p-aminophenol is realized.
