Effects of Fermentation Metabolites on Glucose Oxidase Biosynthesis

Factors influencing the fermentation of glucose oxidase were studied by membrane dialysis technique and resting cell system. Experimental results showed that 1.5 mmoL/L of pyruvic acid and 20 mmol/L of gluconic acid would reduce the yield of GOD by 46.24%and 21/respectively. The microbe would use gluconic acid as carbon source when the residual glu-cose in broth was too low.The membrane dialyses could reduce the inhibition of pyruvic acid and gluconic acid.The production of GOD was thus improved by 40%. In resting cell system,11 kinds of amino acids were tested,and Orn, Glu, Gly,Ala,Ser and Cys were found to have pro-motion effects on the yield of GOD.
