    Effects of Fermentation Metabolites on Glucose Oxidase Biosynthesis

    • Factors influencing the fermentation of glucose oxidase were studied by membrane dialysis technique and resting cell system. Experimental results showed that 1.5 mmoL/L of pyruvic acid and 20 mmol/L of gluconic acid would reduce the yield of GOD by 46.24%and 21/respectively. The microbe would use gluconic acid as carbon source when the residual glu-cose in broth was too low.The membrane dialyses could reduce the inhibition of pyruvic acid and gluconic acid.The production of GOD was thus improved by 40%. In resting cell system,11 kinds of amino acids were tested,and Orn, Glu, Gly,Ala,Ser and Cys were found to have pro-motion effects on the yield of GOD.
