Establishment and Optimization of DNA Conjugation of Rhodobacter capsulatus
DNA conjugation of R.capsulatus B10 was established. The conjugation efficiency was optimized by culture type and culture time. Some factors such as the size of plasmids affected the efficiency strongly were found. These provide the basis of construction of genetic strains.
