    • The periodical operation of o-xylene oxidation processes over V_2O_5 catalysts intubular fixed bed reactor was studied. Yield of phthalic anhydride was measured undersquare-wave forced oscillation operating parameters, such as reactant concentration andspace velocity. Obvious increase of phthalic anhydride yield was found compared withsteady state values, depending upon the oscillation frequency. Some preliminary inter-pretation of these results is provided.
