A Flow Industrial Process Monitoring Approach Using Non-negative Matrix Factorization

A new monitoring method based on nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) is proposed in this paper. Noting that some local depictions may imply important information of data, which can be helpful for detecting abnormities, this paper introduces NMF algorithm to industrial fault detection area and analyses the details of the process monitoring method based on NMF. The simulation experiment on TE process shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
