Abstract
The coal liquefaction oil was separated using gradient elution method and the aromatics were analyzed by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GCMS) and 1Hnuclear magnetic resonance (1HNMR). The results show that the aromatics are separated into light, middle and heavyaromatics by the method. The chemical shifts of the proton of aromatics in the low field NMR are at 6.9—7.2 for monoaromatics as well as 7.2—9.0 for multiaromatics.
