Intelligent Method of Production Planning in Batch Process and Its Application

A new intelligent method in which mathematical model and expert system are combined, is presented. The distributive coefficient based production planning model is established. The long range, middle range and short range production planning are included in one model by the distributive coefficients which an expert system decided, so that the dimension and the storage size are reduced significantly and the system running is speed up. This method has been applied to the production planning of a practical brewery. It is shown that notable economic benefit can be gotten.
