A study on synthesis of benzoxanthene-3, 4-dicarboxylic anhydride derivatives
Benzoxanthene-3, 4-dicarboxylic anhydride and its eight derivatives were synthesizedthrough chlorination, condensation, reduction, cyclization and imidation with 1, 8-naph-thalic anhydride as raw material, and the tendency of variation of their shade caused byintroduction of various groups to the derivative molecules was indicated. Dyeing polye-ster fibers with these derivatives was studied.
