Effects of Absorption and the Reflection on Interior Surfaces on Antiparallel Two Wave Mixing

The effects of absorption, gain and the thickness of crystals on the antiparallel two wave mixing in photorefractive crystals have been studied based on Shooting method. The error led by approximate calculation has been estimated. A self-consistent calculation based on Shooting method has been developed to consider the effects of the reflection on the interior surfaces of crystals on transmission. The dependence of transmission factor on the reflectivity of crystal surfaces has been calculated.
