Rational Screening of L-Glutamate Oxidase (GO) Producing Strains and Submerged Fermentation

Using red spots development and rational screening method, along with mutagenesis, the mutant Streptomyces sp.N_5 14 was obtained, which productivity of GO was 19 folds more than its parent strain sp. 26 and stable after transferring 15 generations. The conditions of GO producing in submerged fermentation were set up and various factors which influence the productivity of GO were studied.
