Abstract
In accordance with E. Reissner's plate theory, the govering differential equations of the nonlinear bending of moderately thick circular plates with variable thickness under the action of uniformly transverse loading were derived. By the perturbation method with two small parameters, a high precise analytical solution to the third order was obtained.
