Study on the Toughness Enhancement of DAIP Resin

The effects of toughening agents on the properties of diallyl isophthalate (DAIP) resin such as mechanical properties, thermal resistance, water resistance and curing properties are investigated. The results show that the interpenetrating network (IPN) between toughening agents and DAIP resin is formed by controlling curing condition of resin, and therefore the toughness of DAIP resin is increased.
