A COSMIC-FFP Measurement Method Based on UML Sequence Diagram

COSMIC-FFP is a new measurement method of function size. However, the COSMIC-FFP is difficultly popularized due to the abstract of its rules. In this paper, the COSMIC-FFP measurement method based on UML sequence diagram is studied. By giving a set of concept mapping, we propose 11 measurement rules and a measurement process from UML sequence diagram to measurement output matrix. A simulation example shows that this method may improve the practicability of COSMICFFP.
