Abstract
Based on Reissner's plate theory which takes into account the influence of transverse shear deformation, we derived the bending equations of circular (ring) plate with variable thickness under two conditions: (1) a circular plate under central concentrated load, (2) a circular ring plate under uniform pressure. Using the perturbation method, an analytical solution up to the fourth order is obtained.
