    Reliable Control of Uncertain Systems via Adaptive Sliding Mode Technique

    • In this paper, the problem of sliding mode control was considered for a class of uncertain systems with possible actuator faults. The reliable design on both passive and adaptive sliding mode controllers was investigated, respectively. Both the stability of the sliding motion and the reachability of the specified sliding surface were analyzed by means of linear matrix inequality technique and Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, numerical simulation results validated the effectiveness of the proposed method.
