Modeling of Tubular Heat-Sensitive Sensor with Immobilized Enzyme and Its Application to the Determination of Fermentation Substance Concentration

    • By means of the material and energy balances, this paper establishes a mathematical model to describe the tubular hot-sensitive sensor with immobilized enzyme. It involves a set of hyperbolic partial differential equations, and can be used to determine the concentration of fermentation substances. The obtained relationship of ingoing concentration vs. outgoing temperature difference has the form of MONOD equation, and is in good agreement with the experimental results.
