Study on the Reaction of Methanol Synthesis from Carbon Dioxide with Hydrogen Over CuO-ZnO-ZrO_2 Catalysts Under Lower Pressure

    • The title reaction was studied under 2MPa pressure. BET, XRD, SEM and TPR were used to examine the surface property, crystal phase, activity rule of catalysts and the effect of zirconium oxide. It showed that adding ZlO_2 is useful to increase the dispersion degree for active components and the specific surface area of catalysts. Adding suitable amount ZrO_2 might increase catalytic activity and methanol selectivity at lower reaction temperature. There are two types for CuO, surface CuO and bulky CuO, existing in catalysts. The amount of ZlO_2 and calcined temperature affected the dispersion of CuO, its specific pore volume and the catalytic activity directly.
