Advanced Process Control for Industrial Polypropylene Process

An advanced process control solution for Himont Spheripol license polypropylene process is proposed.Based on the first principle model,the performance indexes indicating the product quality are calculated.Based on the performance calculation and internal model control with closed-loop identification method,a strategy for direct quality control is proposed.The application results of a real industrial polypropylene process has verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solution.
