Bending of Corner-Supported Shallow Spherical Shells over a Rectangular Plan
A conception called modified simply supported edge is extended and applied to shells. The analytical solution is obtained for the bending of shallow spherical shells over a rectangular plan with complex boundary conditions, for example, a shell is supported at points of the corners, by using the method of superposition.
