Mechanical Analysis for Stride across Section of Long Distance Transport Pipeline

This paper investigates the mechanical properties of stride across section of buried long distance transport pipeline.The suspended pipeline is simplified as a large deflection bending beam.The buried section is assumed to be in limited length and the earth resistant force is considered to be non-linear.Effect of anchor blocks location,temperature difference of pipeline,span distance,deadweight and anticorrosion coating thickness on the vertical displacement,bending moment and stresses is anaslyzed.The resu...
