Abstract
In this paper, an effective approach to design of the linear servomechanism of multivariable time-invariant systems with arbitrary initial conditions and delays in state (or output) and control variables is presented. By using the block-pulse functions (BPFs) and the method of the parameter optimization, the algorithm of the optimal control is proposed, which is simple and convenient for the applications to industrial processes. The simulations show that the algorithm is applicable to designing a linear servomechanism of time-delay systems.
