Preparing of Stearic Acid Triethanolamine Ester and Silicon-containing Wax Emulsion

Stearic acid was esterified in certain condition by triethanolamine into stearic acid triethanolamine ester, a light yellow wax. Then the ester reacted with benzyl bromide to form benzyl dihydroxyethyl stearyl oxyl ethyl ammonium bromide, which has antiseptic and antistatic properties. This functional additive and other wax were emulsified with mixed emulsifiers and blended with hydroxylsilicon emulsion. A series of functional products could be obtained, which will be applied in leather and other industry.
