Odorant Identifications Based on Artificial Olfactory Methods

This paper studies odorant identifications based on artif icial olfactory methods, introduces the basic principles of using pattern recogn ition to distinguish the different odorants, presents the hardware design, algorithm and software realization in the artificial olfactory system. The recognition result s for different odor substances show that the proposed method is effective.
